Rumpelstiltskin teaser photo!

There's still a lot of detailing left to be done on the coat but I figured I'd at least post the teaser shot which shows the coat nearly finished. All the leather was hand-dyed which took forever but the darker color and the variance of hues across the coat was worth it. You can't really see that detail in these photos, and there's also a ton of detail in the coat fabric itself that didn't really show up with the lighting in my apartment, but it's really really neat!

The collar piece is probably what I'm most proud of, I really love how it turned out, and all that started from was foamie sheets Then it was a few hours of painting, adding texture, varying the hues, shading, amount of color, blending different colors together to get that really neat shade he has and such. Again, the colors don't show up as well in this lighting but it's REALLY neat in person! I'm pretty nervous about how this will go over at Katsucon, I'm honestly not sure how many people will recognize it, but it'll be fun nevertheless!
